Post: Senior Advice Workers
Team: Engage Leeds
Contract: Permanent (subject to continued funding)
Hours: Full-Time (37hrs per week)
Salary Scale / Point: Scale SO1, Point 29
Starting Salary: £25,951 per annum (subject to pay review)
Benefits: 29 days annual leave per annum (plus Bank Holidays), employee health plan and company pension scheme
GIPSIL is a community based organisation providing housing, counselling, advice and support to young people at risk in Leeds.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicants to provide advice, casework and consultancy support in respect of welfare rights and housing issues to those accessing ENGAGE Leeds services and to colleagues involved in ENGAGE Leeds service provision as well as taking a leadership role within the GIPSIL Advice Service, including undertaking line management responsibility for other Advice and Engagement Workers and deputising for the Advice and Engagement Services’ Manager
