Possess a formal teaching qualification
Lead on the assessment of all of our students on entry, and for access arrangements.
Ensure our students with an Education, Health and Care Plan receive the best and most appropriate support
Be confident in delivering CPD to our staff
Be confident in leading a department of skilled staff
Be enthusiastic about raising the standards of teaching and learning for our students with SEND
Have National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination (NASENCo) or willing to uptake this qualification when appointed
For the right candidate, make you, in the crucial role of SENCo, part of our Extended Senior Leadership Team
Provide financial support to enable you to complete NASENCo award
Support and challenge our teaching through frequent CPD, team meetings, peer observations and coaching and mentoring for all new staff.
Help you to benefit from regular collaboration with experts from our trust to ensure we stay ahead of the game.
Give you a staff team who are enthusiastic, dedicated, positive and supportive, and put on phenomenal pantomimes!
