Job Description

Compliance Investigator (Financial Crime) - Overview:

•Base Salary: Up to £40,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + extensive benefits.
•Location: Staines, TW18.
•Purpose: To undertake micro and macro investigations into allegations of Fraud within the Dyno business unit and act as a support mechanism to the external franchise network.
Compliance Investigator (Financial Crime) - The Role:

•Investigate allegations of Fraud from external and internal sources.
•Compile investigation packs in accordance with employment law and policies and procedures.
•Work closely with the business units and P&Ls to ensure that all relevant operational, financial and regulatory risks associated with financial crime are pro-actively managed and fully understood by the business
•Assist the businesses to manage controls gaps relating to financial crime within the scope of the control frameworks and take appropriate action to ensure that these are remediated, including undertaking process reviews with relevant business leaders.
•Provide support and guidance to the business over the effectiveness of financial crime controls, recommending appropriate strategies to mitigate risks
•Assist the businesses to undertake end to end root cause analysis to identify control and process weaknesses following a financial crime and to assist in compiling a risk based action plan to deliver an improved controls framework.
•Work with external agencies (such as the Security Services, Special Branch, ACPO, Police, SOCA) who can add value to the role
Compliance Investigator (Financial Crime) - The Person:

•Recognised financial crime qualification.
•Experience in financial crime related roles.
•Understand good housekeeping for data protection and information security requirements.
•Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to both constructively challenge and influence at all levels of the organisation
•Excellent communication skills: be able to explain key facts succinctly and to the point to all people throughout the organisation (from contact centre staff to board directors).
•Confident and creditable with strong attention to detail.
•Ability to work flexibly.
