The Role – Resourcing Executive – Ecommerce Recruitment Team
You will be part of our Ecommerce Recruitment Team, working across the Food and General Merchandise areas of the business.
To provide a first class administration service in respect of Recruitment within Tesco.com by dealing with Business Managers, Recruitment Managers to gain a full understanding of the businesses requirements. To advertise vacancies across numerous channels and
to manage the acquisition of candidates in a professional manner. To deliver an efficient recruitment process ensuring candidates and line manager’s are aware of the various stages, that the recruitment process is followed. Overall you will ensure that all
candidates have a positive recruitment experience with Tesco.
The position will be based at our Head Office in Welwyn Garden City. Free parking is available, we are connected to London Kings Cross with a fast service (c. 25mins) and our offices include gym, canteen, petrol and dry cleaning services.

Role Accountabilities
Recruitment
• Take briefings from business managers with your Recruitment Manager
• Agree with your line manager on time scales for delivery of shortlists
• Ensure adverts are composed effectively and that they reflect roles and are posted promptly on websites.
• Upload vacancies to internal job boards
• Ensure Agencies receive roles when appropriate
• Resourcing and head hunting candidates – advertisement response, Linkedin, networking
• Telephone screening of candidates
• Give feedback to candidates after first telephone screening
Administrative
• Take minutes from meetings/briefings with business managers
• Arrange interviews with candidates, ensuring line managers are made aware of time and location
• Track interviews
• Provide information to Recruitment Manager and Admin Assistant for weekly KPI meeting
• Diary management for both recruitment manager as well as business managers
Ad hoc
• Support Personnel Team members
Candidate Profile
• A strong understanding of recruitment
• Experience approaching candidates directly – head hunting
• Excellent networking skills
• Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• Enjoy meeting new people
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent administration and desktop skills essential
• Data accuracy and integrity
