The Role – Product Owner
Sitting within the Operations Development Team you will be responsible for managing a full lifecylce order management system. Working closley with both Tesco IT teams as well as third party distribution groups, you will have full ownership of the system, implement
changes when needed and analyse the impact changes have on the business operation. Working closely with end users, you will help develop changes to user interfaces, IT development and the supply chain. You will ahve a thorough understanding of how systems
interact with fullfillment and be an expert in this field.
The position will be based at our Head Office in Welwyn Garden City. Free parking is available, we are connected to London Kings Cross with a fast service (c. 25mins) and our offices include gym, canteen, petrol and dry cleaning services.

Role Accountabilities
Project Management
• Supporting large scale projects around the order management system
• Working with IT to help develop solutions
• Engaging multiple stakeholders
• Managing communication to the wider business
Communication
• Ensuring projects are communicated to the business
• Working closely with all parties to ensure projects are communicated effectively and understood
• Reacting to requests from the business and external stakeholders for information and training
Analysis
• Produce data analysis on how the order lifecycle is performing
• Find trends in data to suggest improvements to the operations/system
• Alert operations on detection of issues
Candidate Profile
• 2:1 Degree or relevant international equivalent
• Strong understanding of IT systems, order management would be ideal
• Excellent communicator
• Supply chain knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience of leading projects using a recognised methodology
• Managing change with cross functional support
• Good IT systems knowledge and understanding of retail operations an advantage
