This role is:

To be part of the IT Operational Security Team and ensure the success of Tesco Bank through a successful IT Operational Security team. This role includes developing and running the operational security services within Technology ensuring that best practice approaches are adopted and that the security levels of Tesco Bank are maintained. This involves delivery of robust security assurance and security incident management capabilities involving processes, tools, and people in line with the requirements of a bank with a low risk appetite for security incidents.

To do this you will:

• Develop operational security capabilities
• Embed the capabilities and coaching other members of the team
• Provide security services
• Provide technical expertise to service consumers
• Manage external suppliers

Experience required:

• Proven track record of delivering vulnerability management and security incident management capabilities to time/budget in a service focused environment
• Proven track record of building trust with technical resources to drive successful outcomes
• Experience of working in the Financial Service Industry (preferred, not essential)
• Experience of ITIL
• Generic information security experience with regard to policy interpretation and implementation
• Previous experience in an operational security environment
• CEH Qualified
