Coming from an investment banking or asset management background, you will have a good understanding of front to back office trading flows and processes and want to make a real mark on the
project.
What sort of work would you be a part of?

Systems selections for a specific domain, including Gap Analysis and Target Architecture specifications

Implementation of vendor products including migration from in-house or other vendor systems

Stakeholder management and potentially project management depending on your level of expertise

Your talents:

Proven experience as a Technical Business analyst in Financial services

Strong stakeholder management experience

Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle

Experience of developing business requirements documents and functional specifications to a high standard

Experience of working with testers and ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner

Experience of working effectively with business users to identify required changes
-
Strong documentation skills

Experience in process design/re-engineering
-
Competent user of MS Office
Ideal

Experience of using tools such as UML, Visio, SSADM
-
System knowledge ie Murex, Summit, Calypso
-
Development/SQL knowledge
