We are searching for a Performance Test Analyst to join us due to an increase in opportunities within this area. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in expanding the coverage of non functional tests across existing bank applications. You will have come from a non-functional testing background from an investment banking environment and have the desire to work for a consultancy that believes in its people and results.

You will be an excellent communicator and have the proven ability to provide a risk-based view at any point in a project to enable decision-making on scope and approach for testing, and as input to Quality Gate readiness / risk assessments

Responsibilities will include:

• Defining non-functional requirements as a basis for the test approach
• Designing test scenarios and test cases that test all aspects of the application (Front end, concurrent users & End of Day batch processing)
• Prioritising and documenting tests
• Capacity planning for projected business growth
• Defining and execute capacity testing of the system against future business projections

Your talents:

• Proven non-functional testing experience (specifically non-functional requirements capture, analysis, test case design, build and test execution)
• Thorough knowledge of non-functional testing using structured testing techniques
• Risk-based approach to developing test strategies for maximum value, and assessing impact and testing risk of software & infrastructure changes
• Strong client facing and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong knowledge of industry-defined Testing Services/Methodologies
• Experience in using industry standard tools to define and execute tests
• Experience of working with WINTEL, UNIX and RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle & SQL Server)

Your ideal talents:

• Experience in working across a number of different system architectures (including n-tier and SOA) plus back end, front end and mainframe testing experience
• Investment Banking experience
• Experience of testing Murex, Summit, Sophis, Calypso or e-commerce based systems
• Non-Functional test automation experience – especially the development of scripts, ideally for test automation frameworks
