Our Oracle Consultant will migrate client Oracle databases to current supported version, with minimal impact on Business as Usual (BAU) activities.

Using scripts to explore the Oracle environment for upgrade opportunities, and methodically working to resolving them. Interpretation and resolution of tuning opportunities. To migrate client Oracle databases to current supported version, with minimal impact on Business as Usual (BAU) activities.

Skills required:

•At least five years Oracle development experience
•Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills
•Scripting skills would be very useful
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills, root-cause analysis
•Excellent knowledge of Oracle internals, including rule and cost based optimisers
•Experience of migrating Oracle databases in large commercial environment
