We are looking for only the very best SharePoint/Office Developer Consultants to join our elite team, to take responsibility for guiding customers in the architecture, design and implementation of SharePoint and Office based solutions… someone who exudes passion and technical competence, backed up by a portfolio of successful technical services delivery in complex, challenging environments, to create a compelling image of Microsoft and its products for our customers.

And whilst our team has proven experience and expertise acrossthe breadth of Microsoft technologies, each member represents a Point of Excellence in his/her own unique technical area of specialism.

The SharePoint Developer Senior Consultant will be responsible for:

• Managing diverse and complex consulting engagements, typically in technically and politically challenging environments.
• Designing customer solutions that effectively lever MS business, products, programmes and services.  
• Providing technical and business leadership both on tactical and strategic levels to customers and engagement teams comprising other MCS consultants and our consulting partners.
• Strategically analysing the risks, benefits and opportunities of the solutions they develop with customers.
• Performing technical troubleshooting in a wide range of different customer situations.
• Contributing to the effectiveness of Microsoft and external technical communities through the creation of a variety of forms of reusable IP (intellectual property).
• Helping to identify and proactively work with the engagement team and partners to pursue on-sell opportunities.

To be a Microsoft SharePoint Developer Consultant you will need deep technical experience,gained from proven successful delivery of a variety of large-scale challenging projects, in the following areas:

• SharePoint products and technologies, in terms of infrastructure, configuration and development
• ASP.NET and web based development including CSS, XML, HTML
• A .NET programming language (VB.NET or C#)
• An understanding of portal, collaboration and social networking technology.  What they are and what they enable
• Office Client Development

We are also look for experience in the following:-

• Professional consultancy / services delivery
• Understanding non-functional requirements and production system SLAs
• Systems development and consulting including enterprise architecture
• Working with Enterprise customers
• Driving licence 

Experience of BI and CRM solutions would be an advantage.
