McAfee Consumer business accounts for 40% of the total revenues for McAfee. Consumer application engineering develops security solutions targeted at securing a home PC and network.
"Partner Custom" team will focus on creating security solutions targeted for McAfee's OEM and ISP partners.
We are looking for passionate Software Developer UI engineers with good experience in User Interface and Object Oriented design. Candidate is expected to be hands-on in writing HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, C♯ code. Duties include:
- Responsible for the design and development User Interfaces for applications on Windows 32bit and 64bit platforms.
- Perform the design and code reviews within the team.
- Unit testing.
- Program and debug complex engineering problems.
- Collaborate with the Development Manager to create detailed functional and technical specifications.
Experience
- Excellent experience of UI development experience in a fast-paced development environment with experience in consumer-specific software or web products
- Must possess a broad knowledge of web development techniques
- Extensive knowledge of UI development methodology and processes. Must be able to demonstrate, understand and be proficiency in managing all phases of web product design and development
- In-depth knowledge of HTML/DHTML, JavaScript and CSS and experience in implementing Web 2.0 functionality (AJAX, etc)
- Extensive experience in integrating user interface code with web technologies like .Net
- Experience in UI technologies like SilverLight and Flash is a plus but not require
- Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. Must be able to self-manage as well as work and collaborate with cross-functional groups, and also function as both a project leader and individual contributor
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent.We can consider other qualifications, if supported by good experience in the field.
