The area: Partnerships
There's always more information out there, and our Partnerships team works to get it. We develop relationships with a range of organizations, from content providers to publishers, and find ways for them to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. We find great content for our products, and we also work with partner sites to syndicate our own Google products. From negotiating agreements to solving technical problems for partners, we're in pursuit of gathering the world's information.
The role: Publisher Support Associate, Mobile Publisher Products, Online Partnerships Group
The Online Partnership Group (OPG) grows Google's business with online publishers by helping them utilize tools from products such as AdSense and DoubleClick. Our team is made up of high-achieving specialists who work with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. On this team you proactively identify, develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new partners. In OPG, we strive to exceed partner expectations through building, supporting and maintaining long-term win-win relationships.
As an Account Strategist on the Online Partnerships Group team, you build sales and marketing skills by helping us serve our worldwide user base. You work with small- and medium-sized web publishers to grow their online advertising business with Google. We promote thoughtful risk-taking to develop the next generation of sales solutions for our growing publisher network.
As part of the Online Partnerships Group Publisher Support team you will be responsible for the development of the processes and infrastructure required to support our mobile publisher products in EMEA. You will communicate with publishers through email and web-based communication channels, with a strong focus on monitoring publisher sentiment across the region. You will be working on a small, flexible team, where everyone wears multiple hats. As such there will be a number of opportunities to extend your work beyond market-specific responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent levels of customer service to Google's clients and users via a variety of media channels (email, forums, blogs etc).
- Analyze site content, ensuring adherence to Google standards.
- Work on improving the Online Partnerships Group network and decreasing spam.
- Grow and develop online publishers' accounts strategically.
- Develop and implement innovative ideas related to our core support offerings and work with the wider Online Partnerships Group team, product management, marketing and engineering on implementing them.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous client service experience and a penchant for building and maintaining successful customer relationships.
- Motivated, organised, responsible and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented international environment.
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and ability to proactively seek solutions and implement improvements.
