Lead C# Programmer - Parity Projects

Job Description

The Programmer will be joining the existing data and analysis team (currently 4 people) at Parity Projects. Due to growth of the business we are looking for an experienced software developer to lead on development, implementation, and ongoing management of a new website and associated desktop client based on our existing in-house energy calculation software to extend our award winning services.
You will find an application form which each candidate must complete. 

The day to day work will mainly involve:

• Development of the linked web and windows applications, working closely with the data and analysis team who will be designing the complex calculation methods, specifying data schemas, etc.
• Ongoing development (or more likely helping with managing the migration from and retirement of) our in-house MS Access/VBA applications.
• Some actual hands on work with our analysts and surveyors to ensure a detailed knowledge of how we work.

There will also be normal minor shared administrative office duties as might be expected in a relatively small office - these tasks are shared between all staff. The programmer may also on occasion be the only member of staff in the office so will need to be able to demonstrate an appropriate attitude.
The Programmer will be based in our offices in Earlsfield, South London, and will be full time. The normal working hours are 9-5, Monday-Friday. The role is permanent for a good candidate.
