Google Jobs
Considering the astronomical success of global brand Google, it is hard to believe that the company was founded just over 14 years ago, in 1998. Consistently succeeding in their company mission to ‘organise the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful,’ Google has become an integral part of our lives.
Since registering the Google.com domain in 1997, what was originally a simple search engine system has expanded into an invaluable package of instantaneous information services.
Moving forward, but never forgetting its humble search engine foundations, Google now provides tools such as Blogger, Gmail, and, most recently, Google+ to internet users around the globe, claiming over 48 per cent of daily web traffic in 2011.
A large team of over 30,000 Googlers and Nooglers manage the Google platforms we use each day. Google UK have offices in both London and Manchester, all of which are fundamental centres for sales, engineering and marketing throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
With such an impressive development in less than 15 years, the company aims to sustain the Google phenomenon by encouraging employees to develop their own internet innovations, and make them a reality.
It is Google’s ability to consistently revolutionise and streamline the Web, which attracts over, 1 billion searches per day, 1 billion unique visitors per month and a worldwide ranking of number one.
Ask yourself, on the very surface, where would we be today, if we didn’t live in a world where you could just ‘Google it’?
